Week 9 ~Baby Come Back! Redecorating

Baby Come Back!

This week is all about making more small shifts.
It’s about substitution. Whether it is substituting
a new vision for our old vision, or replacing good
positive thoughts for those less empowering
negative ones.  How about this..substituting our
old colors and shapes sheets with a new one?

Davene called it redecorating. Now this was
something I was happy to do. I was ready
for those shapes to come down, so I got
excited about removing those little portraits
from my walls. My intention was to pull them
all down one day and wait a day or two before replacing them again.

Yeah! I pulled them all down and began walking around the house for about 10 minutes, no
more than 15 and the strangest thing happened. ♥ I missed them!

My rooms looked like something important was missing from them. It was like a thief had
stolen something from the house. The atmosphere of the rooms seemed to have shifted.
I had nothing positive to focus my eyes on as I walked in the room. Talking about forming
habits! This really felt strange to not see the shapes.

Oh, it gets stranger. As I stood looking around trying to decide what’s really so different.
It was like I got a mind virus or something. This song started replaying over and over in
my head. “Baby Come Back” an oldie goldie, you might remember the song!

It guess its time to redecorate them walls again! I wanted to stop the madness, so I went
ahead and got the job done the same day. It didn’t take long. I thought how weird is this?

Now here’s a question I’ve been thinking about every since. “What’s going to happen when
the class is over and we no longer need to display the shapes?” Will these now become
permanent wall fixtures for me or is there a magic formula to be taught to get pass this.

I’m wondering!..if I’ll the be hearing “Baby come back or Always and forever?

Oops! this is the week of substitution. I think I should take Charles Haanel suggestion and
affirm: “I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious, and happy.”

I love redecorating…All is well
Happy Thanksgiving All!!!!!
