A Plan of Battle ~ Week 22

March 7, 2011 1 comment

Y
esterday's joy will become today's sadness and today's
sadness will grow into tomorrow's joy.  How do I know
this?

Because all of nature is a cycle of moods and I am part of
nature. I am also the master of my own emotions. So, if
I am to have many productive days, I must have a plan
of battle to help me to accomplish my goal.

Scroll VI offers a very concise plan of action to help
master our emotions and develop happier and productive
days ahead.  We would all do well, to follow Mandino’s advice.

* When I feel depressed I will sing.
* When I feel sad I will laugh.
* When I feel ill I will double my labor.
* When I feel fear I will plunge ahead.
* When I feel inferior I will wear new garments.
* When I feel uncertain I will raise my voice.
*When I feel poverty I will think of wealth to come.
*When I feel incompetent I will remember pass successes.
* When I feel insignificant I will remember my goals.

Today I shall master my own emotions!

Week 19~Shalom…A Mind in Perfect Peace

February 9, 2011 1 comment

Perfect Peace

Perfect Peace

Shalom…

Although lesson 19 is all about
understanding deeper about
cause and effects, polarity, and
other natural laws. I was reminded
as I listened to some spiritual
music, of the bible quote in Isaiah 26:3

“Thou will keep in perfect peace, him
whose mind is steadfast, because he trust in thee.”

While reading the lesson over again, I realized it also talks about the mind and our thoughts. Our mind is the ONLY principle, when we are wanting to create new conditions in our lives.

The chapter drives home the fact that our thoughts are forever seeking expression. If our
thoughts are powerful, constructive, and positive, those will be the results showing up in
our lives as evidence in our health, our business and environment. Of course if they are
thoughts of weakness, critical, or negativity, these too will be our results which manifest,
as well.

Thinking back to the day of the start of this class, I’ve noticed great progression in the way
I think now-a-days. And how much more peaceful I’ve become about situations no matter
what they may be. I’ve also learned to detach emotionally from the outcome. I know that
whatever I think about will come about. So, I no longer worry with intensity as I did some nineteen weeks ago!

By learning the skills of the Master Key System, along with Og Mandino and the teaching of
Mark and Davene. I have learned to keep my mind in perfect peace. Which is the perfect and
only place to be. Especially when the intention is to create only the best in my life, that’s
exactly what I intend to do. Meanwhile, I’m still enjoying this journey.

Unleashing the Champion!!

Peace of mind helps you live your life on your own terms,
in the values of your choosing, so that every day your
life grows richer and fuller.

Week 11~Astronomy, Biology, Science, History?

December 8, 2010 5 comments

I seem to be having a slight problem with
understanding this particular chapter!  Why is that?

I’m confused about what it is exactly the author
is trying to teach me here. I’m seeing a
combination of info from many fields…Astronomy, biology, science and history.

These were also area’s in school classes that I
absolutely despised! Could this be a belief
that’s blocking my understanding of chapter
11?  Maybe so! I don’t know.

Although, this one is a more difficult read for me, I did however manage to pull out a few gems.
The sentence that is most clear to me is “our wants are satisfied by purely mental operations set
in motion by the “will”. And our supply is created by the demand.”

Another phrase is the biblical verse from Mark 11:24. “What things soever ye desire, when ye
pray
believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them.

With that being said my conclusion of this chapter would be, our thoughts are our greatest
discovery. By knowing and understanding the power of these thoughts along with  believing
creates the substance that bring our dreams into reality.

So , which is it? Is this chapter more about astronomy, biology, science or history?
Don’t Know!   Don’t Care!   I didn’t like school!!

Week 5..Oh No, We're Talking Press Release

October 26, 2010 5 comments

Yikes !!! Week 5 is here and they are telling me,
I have to compose a Press Release! I don’t know
SQUAT
about press releases…and where am I
gonna find the time this week to even think about
such a THING??…Why is it, this is the week we
jump into such a HUGE assignment, when I’m
schedule to be out of town? arrhh!..boy is this
bad timing!!!! blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah!

Okay, enough already of the whiny cry baby stuff.
It is what it is! Here’s the thing. I heard of Press
Release some years ago, it’s sometimes called PR.
When I heard that word, I always moved away
from learning even the minimum knowledge about
it. You see, the word “Press Release” has always
struck me as something difficult to do, which meant it wasn’t for me.

Now, here I am taking a course that I want to utilize to the MAX in
order to further my career and here we are talking press release again!
Oh Boy!♥

I’ve been learning about the brain, mainly the behavior of the subconscious mind. My “subby”
has convinced me for years that PR is a bad thing. I guess now is the perfect chance to put
into action the knowledge I have been absorbing on how to re-condition my thinking and re-wire my brain huh?

This assignment is going to be quite interesting. Especially, with me having to fly out on
Thursday and not returning until Monday. Buy hey, I’m learning “I can be what I will to be”.

At first glance it seem like this would be the end of the world for me, or an end to putting
forth the effort into this Master Key training. It is what it is. I will make time somehow to
complete my assignments this week. I love what Art Williams, an incredible coach and
business icon says, “Just Do it!” and “All you can do is all you can do, but all you can do is enough.”

So, let me get busy composing my Press Release. I am looking forward to dreaming up
some big dreams. I’m also excited about getting to hear what others are dreaming up.

Relaxing and Nodding

October 19, 2010 1 comment

Ahh! What a good feeling…I so look forward to my quiet time of
sitting still for 15 minutes daily. In chapter 3 we learn to relax
our physical body. This week, week four we are learning to relax and let go mentally.

If you recall back in our week 1 when we first set out to do this stuff, sitting still was
the most difficult thing I’d ever tried to do. Now I am enjoying much. During the relaxing I
find myself nodding into a deep sleep! …Is this suppose to happen?

Amazing, what use to seem like hours in time, now breezes by within a few minutes.
Sometimes when I look-up at the clock, fifteen minutes have gone by. I’ll be like 3-4
minutes over, so I continue to sit for a few more minutes.

Another thing I’m noticing is after a few moments into getting started I become very
emotional. It’s like a sense of gratitude sweep over me and I’m sitting there very still
with tears streaming down my face. I can’t move my hands to wipe them away, so
there they are rolling and falling where they may.

Maybe this is some sort of cleansing process because shortly after the tears, is
when I drift off and start to nod. Whatever it is, I’m okay with it!

When time is up, I am usually feeling all the more relaxed and energized. Relaxing
and nodding. Is this happening with anyone else I wonder?

Master Key is Helping Keep My House in Order!!

Clean Mission Accomplished

Week -3  of the Master Key

I’m finding myself doing things I
didn’t comprehend I’d be doing at
this particular moment. By
participating with our master key
group, it’s allowing me to gain and
achieve more than I bargained for.
Things like rising a hour earlier
each day only to work on my MK
assignments.

Have you ever seen those little
chores around the house, that you
know you ought to take care of,
yet you always manage to put
them on a schedule in the back of
your mind? You say things like “I’ll
do it next week, next month, or
maybe next year. You know what I mean?

Get this! Every since I’ve started the MK system, things are changing. Because we are
required to select a new chore to complete each week, this has been phenomenal for
me! It’s allowing me to check off the list of items to do from way back. In other words
this Master Key assignments are helping to keep my house in order.  How cool is that?

That’s a really good thing. The best part is now I’ve completed two chores and I love basing
in that great feeling of mission accomplished. I know on a subconscious level that’s an
awesome step. Like Mark says “keep growing”. I’m doing just that….talk soon!

Anticipation!!!

October 2, 2010 2 comments

What's Next?

We are near the end of one complete week of training,
learning and studying with our master key session.

What a week of experiencing and growing it has been. What I
thought would turn out to be only a tedious task, that I would
somewhat regret, wouldn’t you know it!! This week has turned
out to be one of the best weeks of my life on a Spiritual level.

This week I’ve learned how to be in control of my body. In the
process, I’ve learned to silence my mind and become more aware of my thoughts.

Even though I’ve encountered plenty of tests this week, I can still honestly say “it was
worth it”. I now find myself so, looking forward to my fifteen minutes of quiet time.

I’m starting to see little flickers of visions. This is so exciting!! I wait with great
anticipation to see what the next week class is going to share with us.

P.S.  Gee, I hope it will be instructions on using this blog! I’ve had some really
challenging times with mine.

Thanks again Mark and Davene for all that you do. You guys are fabulous!!

It's A Mind Thing

September 27, 2010 2 comments

Welcome! To all the warriors who held fast for opening night
of MKMMA. We had our very first class and all I can say is
“Wow”.

Mark and Davene was absolutely right when they said to
buckle your seat belts. I received lots of valuable information
and I feel so blessed to be part of such an amazing group of leaders.

As Og Mandino says, “today I begin a new life!” I am learning just
how incredible the mind really is. With the continued guidance of Mark
and Davene, I shall master the proper ways to use it.

I’m so enjoying reading Scroll I. As taught in our first class about the
word “will” I decided to go through Scroll I and replace or remove that
word, which by the way was used 22 times in that one chapter.

I found by replacing will with must, shall, or omitting it altogether really
brought new meaning to the sentence. Or was that just a mind thing??

I am so looking forward to developing, learning, and growing on this
journey to a new life. Bring it on!
