Week 20 ~ Your Fortune Begins With You

February 20, 2011 1 comment

“Things may happen around you, things may
happen to you, but the only things that count
are the things that happens in you.”

This is a favorite quote of mine from Eric Butterworth,

mind, body, spirit

a great Unity teacher, It is a great reminder that we
must first light the torch of inspiration in our mind
to acquire the abundance and prosperity we desire.

What is inspiration?

A divine influence directly and immediately exerted upon the mind
or soul. Inspiration comes from within us. Its the art of realizing the
Omnipresence of Omnipotence.

Haanel of the master key explains the process of lighting the torch
as feeling a power that gives fuel to our imagination, which lights
inspiration, giving vitality to our thoughts, which then connects
us to the forces of the Universe, our field of attraction.

As our twenty-four week class begins to whine down, I realize I’ve been
more inspired during this journey to learn about laws of prosperity consciousness.
How clear it has become to know the Kingdom of God is within me and not up there
or out there somewhere and it is the good pleasure of the “Father” to give me the kingdom.

Prosperity and success can be attain in abundance by altering our thought process
with a prosperity consciousness. Proving that your fortune begins with you!

“If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams,
and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will
meet with success unexpected in common hours.”
~Henry Thoreau

~My Dream Board

Prosperity is created in the mind first.
If we understand this, then we know
that if the things we are desiring are
to come true for us, we must continue to keep
the dream and images before us.

There are many, many ways to accomplish that,
but I particularly like designing my own dream
board. I find it’s a really cool and fun way to re-enforce my dreams.

Now you may not use the term dream board. I’ve heard it called by a number of different
names. Most people call them vision boards, while others use the term mind map or
treasure map. Some people even say dream wheel or manifestation map. Whatever name
you give it, it’s the same concept. Putting your dreams into pictures.

So, the idea is to think of what you want to attract into your life, then find pictures that
represent those things you are wanting to attract. Then you cut out the pictures and arrange
them on a board or wall and place it in a spot where you are constantly seeing those images.
It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, it just has to mean something to you.

Pictured above is my dream board…just wanted to share it! Some people get really creative
when constructing their dream boards. Me, I like to keep it simple!

What’s on your dream board?
